RoxSkills Privacy Policy

RoxSkills ("we", "us") provides an iOS app that records short videos of your exercise technique and returns AI-generated coaching feedback. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Technique videos you record. Uploaded to our processing backend (Supabase) to generate your analysis. Analyzed videos are kept so you can replay them in the app; videos that cannot be analyzed are deleted automatically (see "Retention"). We ask for your explicit consent in the app before your first video is analyzed.
  • Analysis results and usage data. Scores, coaching feedback, exercise type, timestamps, and how many analyses you have run (to enforce subscription allowance limits).
  • Account identifiers. You sign in with Apple to use RoxSkills; we store the Apple user identifier and, if you share it, your name. We never receive your Apple password.
  • Subscription status. Managed by RevenueCat and Apple. We store whether your subscription is active; we never receive your payment card details.

How we use it

  • To produce your technique analysis and coaching insights.
  • To enforce subscription allowance limits.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the app.

Sharing

We share data only with processors that run the service on our behalf:

  • Google (Gemini API) — receives your technique video to generate the analysis.
  • Supabase — database, storage, and backend hosting.
  • RevenueCat & Apple — subscription management and billing.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

Retention

Technique videos that produce an analysis are retained in our storage so you can replay them in the app, until you delete your account. Videos that cannot be analyzed are deleted from our storage automatically after processing. Analysis results and account data are retained until you delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your videos, analyses, and account data from our systems and revokes the Sign in with Apple token.

Your choices

  • Delete your account any time from the in-app account menu — this permanently deletes your recordings, analyses, and account.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Children

RoxSkills is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
